All Star Game

The Fire was represented by 10 players in the League All Star game, held at Palm Springs. The event was an East / West game with the Fire , Dodgers and Saints representing the West. The East was made up of the Power, Bears and Glory.

The West won the game 3-1. Corey Shimada, Utah, was 2 for 5 with an RBI. Fire pitchers were dominant with Erick Chandler, Georgetown, went 2 innings with 2 K's, Phil Hann of Northridge threw 1 with 2 K's, Casey Arbiso also pitched 2 with 2 Strikeouts. Nick Haughian of the University of Washington got the win with 1 inning and 2 K's.

Other players representing the Fire were Michael Nesbitt of Cypress College, Ryan Blair of Sacramento State, Jesse Shriner of Utah , Josh Felhauer of Cal State Fullerton and Chris Gagne of Azusa Pacific.

Matt Stevens of Washington participated in the pre-game Home Run Derby.
